april lee + rika m. will be reprising「shining water, silent waves」exhibition (photographs from aspidistrafly's album 「i hold a wish for you」) at PINTOLIVROS in Macau.

“On this day in April, we ventured to the Edogawa river.
the river was shining, a cold spring breeze whispered in my ear.

It was a first meeting with each other,
after an online friendship of 5 years
in that span of time, we exchanged photos, cameras, dreams

we walked by the riverside with several cameras slung on our shoulders.
the sky was so vast that i held my breath.
truly, i felt that Edogawa river was full of little presents from heaven
the softness of grass, mimosa hiding when touched,
twinkling stars in the river reflected by the sun,
a windvane spinning in the breeze...

this collection of photographs records the beauty
on that special day in spring...”
