Meitei’s Kwaidan 5th Anniversary Edition is out now on compact disc and digital. LP edition is coming to you on 8th September 2023.

The seminal debut from Hiroshima composer Meitei, the music of Kwaidan is described as a lost Japanese mood — sonically encapsulating horror folklore, intricately transposed into an ambient fever dream. Lauded as one of The Best Experimental Albums of 2018 by Pitchfork.

Meitei releases Kwaidan 5th Anniversary Edition via KITCHEN. LABEL and Evening Chants. Also available on 180g smoke haze variant LP, arriving on 8th September. This record is mastered by Taylor Deupree at 12k Mastering in New York.
