The seminal debut from Hiroshima composer Meitei, the music of Kwaidan is described as a lost Japanese mood — sonically encapsulating horror folklore, intricately transposed into an ambient fever dream. Lauded as one of The Best Experimental Albums of 2018 by Pitchfork.

Meitei releases Kwaidan 5th Anniversary Edition via KITCHEN. LABEL and Evening Chants. This record is mastered by Taylor Deupree at 12k Mastering in New York.
